Washington Realtors Survey results

The Washington State Association of Realtors recently published the results of their annual survey of home buyers and sellers. Here now (and in the days to come) are some of those results:
* The median age of home buyers in Wash. St. was 38 years old. Among first-time buyers, the median age was 31.
* The 2006 median household income of Wash. St. home buyers was $73,900 compared to $74,000 among all home buyers nationally.
* 62% of home buyers reported that there were no children under age 18 residing in the home.
* 63% of home buyers were married couples, 21% single females, 6% single males, and 9% were unmarried couples.
