The site is sponsored by Sherwin Williams. It allows you to upload pictures of your home and then "paint" the walls, trim, ceiling, etc. various colors available from their pallet to see how it will look. Seems to me that this could be really helpful, even if you choose to use a brand other than Sherwin Williams.
If you try it, please let me know what you think.

Valspar also has a virtual paint tool that will let you preview how your chosen colors will look in a room. Check it out at http://www.valspar.com/painter.html.
And to make it easier to chose a color, Valspar also has a collection of over 250 National Trust Historic Paint colors, documented from National Trust sites across the country. These colors have stood the test of time, so they are classics for your home, as well. All Valspar colors are available at Lowes, but what really makes Valspar paint a great choice is that a portion of all proceeds are donated to the National Trust for Historic Preservation to help save America’s important places. Learn more at www.preservationnation.org/historicpaint.
Thanks, Crista, for the additional resource!
