The Northwest Multiple Listing Service recently amended their rules regarding what information brokers can publish concerning current listings.
Beginning this month, the general public will now be able to get information on brokerage websites revealing how many days a property has been on the market, as well as its pricing history. Previously, this information was only available to licensed agents.
This is good news for buyers, but may not be a change welcomed by sellers who would prefer to keep such information private if their home has been languishing on the market for a long time.
