George Butterfield, one of my colleagues at Prudential, just listed a 1909 Alki-area home that has a secret passageway to the downstairs, hidden behind a bookcase in the living room! I don't know about you, but the only place I've seen that feature is on soap operas (Dark Shadows, and All My Children, to name two).
